In search of: a tall, dark and handsome BtoB community
Folks, for some of my own research, I'm searching for some BtoB blogs/Wikis/whatnot that facilitate a community around a particular subject matter, industry or expertise. The focus of the subject matter matters not...so long as it's a BtoB focus and so long as it features a community of writers and readers.
For example, The Daily Fix is a good example of a BtoB community site with many professionals from various companies--versus blogs by one author--contributing posts and holding conversations all in one "place" on one many facets within the marketing profession.
The sites can be sponsored by companies, organizations or a handful of passionate individuals and, again, the subject matter doesn't matter--be it finance, farming, technology, real estate or the automotive industry--so long as the site has multiple contributors and commenters that focus on a particular industry or expertise.
BtoC need not apply.
(Thanks so much ;-).
Off the top of my head...
There's Social Media Today
http://www.socialmediatoday.com/
...although I believe the posts there are reprinted from other blogs.
Also, FutureLab's blog:
http://blog.futurelab.net
And there's Women in Media and News, although not exactly B2B:

CK,
Our blog, GrokDotCom is written by several people from our company and a few outside friends all focused on marketing optimization. Let me know if this is the type of thing you are looking for.
Thanks.

@Ann: Thanks Ann, I'll check them out.
@Bryan: Appreciate the point and it's a blog I want to check out for my own reading (glad to know of it).
I'm really looking for examples of blogs or Wikis where there are many authors from various companies focused on a particular profession or discipline thereof. It can be sponsored by a company, an organization or started by an individual. The subject (e.g. farming, tech, finance) doesn't matter so long as it's BtoB.

How about BrandingWire (brandingwire.com), Selling to Small Business (http://www.typepad.com/t/app/lists?__mode=edit_item&item_id=8303191) and Freelance Folder (http://www.typepad.com/t/app/lists?__mode=edit_item&item_id=8303185)

CK...when I used to work at Penton, one of our magazines ran HVAC Talk (http://hvac-talk.com/vbb/). Good example of contractors and consultants coming together in the construction industry.

The difficulty is that some of the blogs I read put in a mix of B2B and B2C. Two that come to mind are:
Sound Off Blog by Sales & Marketing Magazine - industry experts and staff writers (http://vnutravel.typepad.com/soundoff/)
Forrester's Marketing Blog - written by Forrester analysts and occasional industry experts (http://blogs.forrester.com/marketing/2007/10/web-20-is-fando.html)

CK - The "classic" of B2B blog communities has to be Business Blog Consulting. Started by Rick Bruner and recently taken over by Stephan Spencer.
