A little love my way, a lot of love yours
The good folks over at NXTBookMedia were moved enough by the collage that they transformed it from stale PDF into a living, breathing rich media piece...for free! And they're hosting it (for free!). I thank NXTBook's Marcus Grimm for giving it--and the community--so much love.
They're also going to let me update the collage with more responses (thanks to everyone who has voiced-in since the original piece, I will get to updating the piece with your great feedback. I promise!).
And that's not all: Marcus was kind enough to interview me for Folio Magazine's e-zine, a site serving the magazine publishing industry. You smart bloggers already know the stuff I cover in the interview, but it's a good piece for those just jumping into social media. Again, here's the beautiful piece they created for us. For new readers: please see the project's background here.
P.S.: As is the case is with my luck, this interview--which points readers to my blog--runs the week that I feature me in mouseketeer ears...do hope they have a sense of humor.
Congratulations! That is so cool! Truly... It couldn't have happened to a more deserving blogger. Great job, CK!

Way to go CK. Oops! They call you Christina. Apparently, they didn't get the memo.

That is truly awesome and your hard work and generosity of mind has come back to reward you again. Thank you for starting this project in the first place. Very, very cool indeed.

Thanks Cam, Lewis & Tim. I'm just so glad that they gave the collage a new "home"...and that they'll let me update it, too. Such an enjoyable project thanks to you guys ;-).

I found this blog through that Folio interview and I'm genuinely excited about it. My primary duty for our publications is sales but I've found that I have to be the marketing arm for my client's businesses. I have no formal marketing training but I know the beauty business very well and I feel like we do a great job. However, I need all the influence I can get from the "real deals" that are on this blog.
Besides maybe one of my clients will understand the investment of using a real marketing professional or firm so I can make some referrals. Wouldn't that be great for some of you and for me?
I especially appreciate the book club! Having a few books pointed out and discussed among marketing professionals is like gold for me.
Thanks so much!
P.S. are marketing people insomniacs? CK emailed me at like 9 pm East Coast time last night. That means she was still in work mode at 9:20 pm. Maybe it's an East Coast thing. I was ready for sleep at 9:45 in So. California.

Many thanks Michelle. Glad you liked the interview--this medium holds a lot of potential. And I'm so pleased you'll be involved in the Book Club. And no, I don't sleep all that much (ha, ha!).
