Newbie no more...but just getting started.

0602_turbocharger_1_200Welcome this my 100th post. Am I tickled to have made it this far? Absolutely pink. Much learned, many colleagues and friends made and much, much more ahead than behind.

That's the thing really, making it to 100 makes me face forward rather than reflect backwards. Thanks for your patience, guidance, generosity and support while this newbie navigated her way through the first 100. Had I have known what all this medium and community would have given me 100 posts ago, I'd be on post 1000.

People say they don't know how I find the time to blog. I can't imagine not making time for it. People say they don't understand how social media adds value to their business. I say the value is both professional and personal. People say a lot of things--but we opt to share them with one another. A rising tide indeed lifts all boats. And a blogosphere bolsters all marketers.

And speaking of looking ahead: I have more than a few surprises up my sleeve still for this year and next...please do stay tuned.

P.S.: Actually, if you count the posts over at The Daily Fix, I'm 100+. But who's counting?

As you know from my last post, I had a busy day in NYC Wednesday, highlighted by lunch with CK and a potential client meeting with someone from Chicago whom I have known since he was 10 years old. One of the things CK and I discussed over lunch was the... [Read More]

G: I'm just so pleased that you "joined the conversation" recently--and have made a BIG impact in such a short time. Bravo and I'm working on making it to Carnivale in Venice in February so we can have a blogger meetup in Europe.

Congratulations CK. It's been 100 great posts. I'm looking forward to the next 100, even more.

Thanks for all you've shared.

Wow. 100 posts already??

Congratulations. I know you've added a lot of wisdom and wit to the marketing blogosphere.

Keep it up.

David A: Many thanks, you really do set a model for us all, on many fronts. Appreciate it more than you can know.

David R: One of my few blogging friends who was first my offline friend. More than anyone you have listened to me blab on...and on...about la blog. Thanks for your patience and support. I promise to work not to talk about my darn blog as much during the next 100. My gratitude x 100!

Congrats, CK. You look FABULOUS, darlink, for 100!

Ann: Admittedly, I had some work done around post 50. Just a few nips and tucks on the old girl.

Congratulations! 100 is great (I'm at 608 on one, 80-something on another... and another 40-50 floating around elsewhere... lord I'm a slut...)

You have quickly become one of my bestest blogging buddies and certainly one of my favorite reads. I am so thrilled to be able to say that we "work together" on the DF. (What amazing company we have there... holy cow!)

Thank you for all that you do to create great conversations, idea exchanges and generally prettying up the place.

Masiguy: 608 posts? Wow. Plus another 120? Double wow! Yes it will always be that we started at DF together. I hope to be in L.A. early year and we'll have a fab time. Can't wait to hear your report from SD's ComiCon, you MUST go as Sci-Fi biker superhero (The "Tick"). He can wear really cool socks.

They'll fawn all over you--just like we do.

CK,

I doubt you were ever a newbie, just one hell-of-a sophisticated, warm, southern charm girl.

Honestly, I ask you people; is there anybody who doesn't just adore CK? Seriously...

I'm totally at post 105, slacker!

Oh, and, congratulations. :)

Paul: It's all a girl can do to try and keep up with you...congrats to you, too. You've made the first 100 a blast. Here's to many, many more.

McEnany- just 105? That's all you got? Did you see those numbers above? I'm near 800 now... you better get goin'.

CK rocks!

Congrats! Looking forward to the surprises up your sleeve. And glad to be part of the gang with you over at DF.

Keep creating...BIG surprises,

Mike

CK,
Congratulations! Don't change anything... just keep posting. I'll be around the next 100. : )

Congratulations CK, and not just for your posts. Thanks for being a swellegant facilitator, a gracious hostess of the blogsphere (a true newbie thanks you for your introductions!) and over all for just being inspirational. Onwards and upwards.

Congrats on the milestone CK! I just checked and you are closing in on 100 blogs linking here too!

Hi CK,

Congratulations to you!

I guess the "C" in "CK" now stands for "100."

(The "K" or 1,000 gives you something to shoot for!)

Best wishes,

Roger von Oech

Mike: Thank you. You are so kind along with your brilliance...it doesn't go unnoticed.

Mindblob: So glad to have met you and your blog around post 95. Can't wait to meet you in Europe - it will happen!

Katie: Love your energy and passion. Thanks for all the good you do and call attention to.

Mack:You are such a guiding force for me--I know that sounds all soap opera, but I mean it. You've been so supportive of me. Guess that's why I--and others--call you Mr. Community. Sorry that Auburn kicked your team's butt yesterday. Oh wait, no I'm not :-).

Roger: So nice to finally "meet" you. Like I said over at your blog on your video post, you just light up when you talk about "the whack".

A hundred posts down and many more to come! You add great color to the blog world -- and keep us all on our toes! Congratulations!

Congratulations CK, look forward to the next 100.
